Remembering former International Council of Domino (ICD) and Jamaica Domino Association’s (JDCA) President, Livingstone Pinnock who passed away recently. Mr. Pinnock took the reign as president of JDA during the Guinness sponsored Domino League, consisting of division 1, 2 and 3 and then instituted the Premier League. He brought to the Domino fraternity a level of pulsating discipline that is unwavering to this day. He embarked on wiping out all sorts of unruly behavior that crept into the game by both players and supporters alike. He was fearless in suspending anyone who was bent on bringing any sort of indiscipline into the fraternity. Mr. Pinnock transformed the Domino fraternity in Jamaica into a first class entity bettered by none. After getting this done, he decided to put together a National Team which was a great success. The National Team went on to win many tournaments, both at home and abroad for many years. Mr. Pinnock then decided to migrate to the USA where he formed the International Council of Dominoes (ICD) and was elected President. His main goal was to get the game of Domino to be regarded as a SPORT and to apply to the Olympic Committee for status. With his vision that which he had accomplished at the national level will now be instituted at the international level. The Domino fraternity has lost an Icon in the form of a champion organizer for the SPORT OF DOMINO admired all across the Caribbean, England and North America. We the members of the International Council of Domino (ICD) and Jamaica Domino Council Association, Affiliates, Clubs and Domino associations all over the diaspora are offering our condolences to his family, friends, business associates and co-workers. May his soul rest in peace and Light Perpetual shine upon him as he goes to rest in the loving arms of the ALMIGHTY CREATOR R.I.P
